Arnerich Massena Announced as a Finalist for Invest in Others Corporate Philanthropy Award

 Portland-based investment firm Arnerich Massena has been named a finalist for the Invest in Others Corporate Philanthropy Award in the advisory firms category. The firm is one of three finalists for this prestigious honor; award winners will be announced at the eleventh annual Invest in Others Gala on September 28 in New York City. The Invest in Others Charitable Foundation will donate $5,000 to each of the finalists’ charitable causes, and $25,000 to that of the winner.
 
The Invest in Others Charitable Foundation states that “Financial advisors are nominated for the Invest in Others award for actively giving back to non-profits to improve their communities and make a difference in the lives of others. Hundreds of nominations were received this year and finalists were selected based on their leadership, dedication, contribution, inspiration, and impact on a non-profit and the community it serves.”
 
Arnerich Massena was nominated and named for its I AM Learning Partnership program, which is in its 22nd year of providing direct education support and mentorship to assist underperforming students meet state benchmarks in literacy and math.
 
The I AM Learning Partnership works in partnership with Irvington Elementary, a Portland Public School, and is dedicated to assisting young students meet state benchmarks by providing mentorship along with direct support and enrichment of academic skills. The program is conducted in the school and includes before-school math and reading tutoring, literacy support, after-school enrichment clubs and activities, and summer camps, all free to the students.
