How to query us
Send an email outlining your proposed story to editor@oregonbusiness.com.
Provide a clear understanding of the angle and a sense of the
tone of your story. Introduce us to your key sources. Please
include a resume and two to three representative clippings of
previous work.
Writers have about one to two months to complete a story,
depending on the timeliness. Shorter AROUND THE STATE items may
have less lead time. Typically, a story appears in print about
three weeks after its final editing — an important
timeline to keep in mind when pitching an idea.
