{safe_alt_text}LEBANON

Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse has completed a 1.4 million- square-foot distribution center and starts operations this month. The warehouse, housing and shipping 32,000 products ranging from power tools to ceiling fans to lawnmowers, will serve Lowe’s retail sites throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Western Montana and portions of Nevada and California. One of the largest single-level buildings in the state, the facility can completely contain 31 football fields and has five miles of conveyor belts. Construction of the $90 million project employed 250 people; when the center is fully operational it will employ 400 people.
