Roof manufacturer Duro-Last expanded its Grants Pass
manufacturing facility by 33,000 square feet to make room for a
new branch of its Exceptional
Metals subsidiary, which will add about a dozen jobs by
the end of the year. Bill Smith, a spokesman for Saginaw,
Mich.-based Duro-Last, says the fast-growing metals division
will take advantage of the Grants Pass site’s better
access to the company’s West Coast contractor customers.
